Resilience Design Expo
After studying definitions of resilience, equity, and sustainability and observing how designers apply them, City 2.0 students spend over a month using the design process to address an urban infrastructure challenge in NYC. At the Expo, they must show how their design makes the City more resilient.
"That feedback from Ms. Yokana, made me think about how the city actually works. My design for vibration energy from the floor of Grand Central was tremendously improved, so I felt I could show it to Mr. Covil (ARUP) in the Expo." --Justin, '16
